Jacob Horton

Jake Horton is an associate attorney in the law firm of Pitts and Brittian, P.C., and currently practices in the areas of trademark and copyright law. Mr. Horton attained a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 2006 with a concentration in Advocacy and Dispute Resolution.

Mr. Horton attained a B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Tennessee in 2002. He served as a law clerk with the firm from the summer of 2005 until the summer of 2006.

Mr. Horton is currently licensed to practice law in the State of Tennessee, and has applied for admission to practice before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee. Mr. Horton is studying to apply for a license to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Jake is also a member of the Knoxville Bar Association, the Tennessee Bar Association, and the Tennessee Intellectual Property Law Association.
